TY - JOUR JO - EuroIntervention TI - CT-Angiographic imaging of the Carillon device topography after unsuccessful treatment of FMR AB -
Coronary Sinus (CS) to mitral valve annulus (MVA) distance and angle might predict echocardiographic response to the Carillon device implantation (distance < 6.9mm and angle < 14.2°) (1). We present a case of a 73-year-old male with aortic valve replacement 10 years ago, who underwent Carillon implantation due to functional mitral valve regurgitation (FMR). The intervention did not result in an improvement of echocardiographic FMR parameters up to 9-months (EROA baseline: 0.21cm2, post-implant: 0.22cm2 and 9-months-follow-up: 0.29cm2; Figure 1A).
AU - Rottländer Dennis AU - Gödde Miriel AU - Degen Hubertus AU - Haude Michael VL - IS - Y1 - 12/05/2020 Y1 - 2020 DOI - 10.4244/EIJ-D-20-00332 SP - KW - mitral regurgitation KW - mitral valve repair KW - msct PB - Europa Digital & Publishing UR - https://eurointervention.pcronline.com/article/ct-angiographic-imaging-of-the-carillon-device-topography-after-unsuccessful-treatment-of-fmr SN - 1774-024X ER -
